Someone has a problem…

August 7, 2007 By: Runner Leana

I loved Jessica‘s blow out running skirt review on CompleteRunning.com. I am a huge running skirt fan. Evidently. I came home to discover my two new RunningSkirts.com skirts in the mail and it started me wondering….just how many skirts do I own? Well, with the exception of my zebra Gym Girl which is hanging out in the laundry hamper, there they all are folks. In sum total:

  • 9 Skirt Sports Gym Girls
  • 4 RunningSkirts.com skirts
  • 2 New Balance skirts
  • 1 Skirt Sports Roller Girl (not my favorite…too short)
  • 1 Skirt Sports Marathon Girl

I took the zebra Gym Girl on its first test drive yesterday, and I am sad to report that this baby shall never see long run nor race. There is some stitching on the shorts that is really uncomfortable after awhile. Thank goodness I have a zebra Marathon Girl coming in the mail to remedy that issue. I think I seriously must be put on skirt purchasing hiatus though.

I’m tempted to get a skirt and run a race in it just to look like a jackass. Are they really that comfortable?

Well, the first step is admitting that you have a problem…

I tend to agree with bill. Maybe you can incorporate them into your daily wardrobe!

    that’s allota skirts! I thought I had a lot 😉

Let’s see… I have 5 from SkirtSports, 2 from Runningskirts.com, 3 from nike, then there is 1 from atalanta, sugoi, zoot, moving comfort and hind. Guess that makes about 14. Yikes!

I swear I’m losing my mind or my comments are just vanishing in to some abyss…

Anyhow, I think you may have enough skirts to last for the next few years… which means now you can move on to buying other fun things like shoes…I love shoes, oh how I wish I could buy lots.

That is an incredible collection! I keep looking at running skirts, but haven’t been able to take the plunge just yet…maybe in another few months 🙂
