It’s all coming back to me now

March 27, 2008 By: Runner Leana

I got up and ran 3.17 miles this morning before heading in to work. I was hitting the pavement before 6:00 am and it felt great. I ran the same route as I did on Tuesday and I even managed to shave a few seconds off my time. I also tackled the big 0.5 mi long hill around mile 2 on the route and ran the entire thing – no walk break in the middle. It has been awhile since I’ve been able to do that. After having four great runs in a row dare I say that I think my running is coming back to me now? I’m finally enjoying how I feel on the road and I want to get out there. I’ve been missing that desire for awhile. I’m happy that I got all my midweek runs in before getting ol’ wisdom teeth out today. It is so much better than the usual two runs a week I’ve been getting in lately. Wish me luck today….happy Thursday all!

I hope the oral surgery goes well and enjoy those runs while they last! Maybe you have my mojo?

I hope they gave you some good medications while they extracted your teeth.

I remember surviving having mine done – hope you heal up quickly!

Oh, hope the oral surgery isn’t too bad. I remember having mine out. Just don’t spit (I got sick from the anastesia and spit after that) it can cause dry sockets and you DON’T want them!! If you feel any discomfort though, go in…they can pack the holes with stuff that takes away the pain and makes you feel so good!!

Good job on the runs. I so miss the feeling of not being able to wait to get out and run…most days I do it, but it’s still just not there…

Good luck on your surgery. It’s not that bad, had all 4 of mine removed in one shot, looked like a hamster for a week! The liquid diet is hard tough. Hope you’re doing well.

Some of my friends decided to run the Quebec City Marathon this summer so I might make an apperance as a half marathon runner or just on the cheering squad! If I do, we have to meet up! =)

Hope the wisdom teeth extraction went well! I got mine done about ten years ago and I remember my friends laughing at my chipmunk cheeks later that day.
