A Whole Lotta Nothing!

November 7, 2008 By: Runner Leana

Yeah, I’ve got a whole lot of nothing to talk about right now. This cold/sinus thing hit me pretty well and thinking on Wednesday just wanted to make my head explode. Too bad I had a major presentation to give on Thursday morning. Wednesday was already a built in rest day to my schedule and when I looked to my prescribed swim/run intervals/weight lifting routine for Thursday I wasn’t sure what to do. Coach told me to rest…

Once my presentation was done today I took the rest of the day off and just relaxed on the couch, catching up with SYTYCD Canada, 90210 and AMNTM…all that good kind of trash! And hello, my favourite routine was this number:

I did stop by Gord’s Running Store to pick up my packet for the Last Chance Half on Sunday though. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this sinus this will be all gone by Sunday so I can run a smoking fast half marathon.

I didn’t watch the vid because I still haven’t watched SYTYCD for this week (it’s on the PVR) but I love those two… can’t wait to see what they brought this week!

    Feel better!

    Leana,

Take Zinc for your colds. Saline your nose when sinuses are plugged up.

Hope you feel better soon. Don’t run with a cold, it will only prolong your illness, and you’ll feel lousy.

    Aloha,
    Jeff
