My swimming felt somewhat like Phoebe’s running style but in the water. How is it that after a week off I feel like I’ve lost all coordination? At one point a lady and I shared a lane. I was swimming behind her and I got distracted by some guy that jumped into our lane and swam along the bottom of the deep end underneath us and I wound up bumping into her. Oops! Pretty well the rest of the swim was uneventful and I got 2100 m in.
After I got home I whipped up a quick omelet, then I had a spin workout to get done. Just under an hour with 10 x 30 second sprints. I put the rest of Twilight on and hopped on the bike. The spin went well and I finished up just as the movie was ending. Perfect timing! Now…time to head off to bed since I need to get to work early!
as one of my swim coaches put it…”one day out of the water is like taking a week off of running.” granted after a couple practices you’ll be back in business.
The swim thing is weird but true…I think you lose it the fastest.

glad you are getting back into it after a week off! sometimes it’s hard to resume the schedule… i’m experiencing that first hand right now 🙁
