Life in the Runner Leana household seems to have entered some kind of alternate reality.
While in Vancouver on a post-Ironman vacation my husband and I stopped in to two lululemon stores, one downtown and their factory store in Burnaby. I purchased nothing at either store…yet my husband bought some running shorts at one, a hoodie at another.
Yesterday hubby was packing a duffel bag to work, so naturally I’m curious as to what its for. Running clothes, so he can go for a run at lunch!
And last night while I stayed up late trying to finish off my race report I looked at my husband on the other end of the couch, fast asleep. I woke him up to encourage him to go to bed and I got protests that there were only five minutes left in the show. Talk about a role reversal because this is what I do all the time and he’s pushing me to go to bed!
Have you had a major role reversal in your household? Maybe my husband is going to tell me he wants to race an Ironman some day??
PS: I am excited that my husband is interested in running. I look forward to the day (which I’m sure is quickly approaching) when he will be able to kick my butt in a race!
Cue spooky music now. lol. I think there must be something in the air…my other half is acting differently too!
Damn those husbands, they always run faster!
