The amazing and highly motivational Amanda at Run to the Finish has tried to help us all create healthy habits and stick with them over the holidays with her Holiday Bootie Buster Challenge. I’ve participated several years and I’ve found great support and motivation from her and from the group. There is something about logging my workouts for the challenge, keeping track of the amount of water I’m drinking and whether I’m getting enough fruits and veggies in that helps me to step up my game. There is an additonal measure of accountability there. The holiday challenge has been so successful that Amanda decided to create a challenge for spring!
When is it? The challenge runs March 17 – May 4.
What do I do? Track points for every 10 minutes of activity, eating 7 servings of fruits and veggies and drinking 64 oz of water daily.
What do I get? Three e-mails each week with workout ideas, motivation and tips to help you eat clean. Access to the Facebook group where we can cheer each other on and share victories or challenges. Plus you will be entered to win prizes!
How much is it? $17
If you are looking for something to help motivate you through the spring, please consider joining me in the Spring Bootie Buster Challenge! I signed up not because I think I’ll need motivation for workouts, but this will help me to stay on track with healthy eating habits and drinking enough water as my training ramps up for Ironman Boulder. It is so easy to fall into that trap of thinking you can “reward” yourself with junk because you workout so much. This challenge should really help!
So head on over to sign up so we can help motivate each other. Be sure to mention that I sent you!
