Well my friends, I am back home from Anaheim. The 2015 Pixie Dust Challenge at Disneyland is in the books. I’m still processing my thoughts (and waiting on the official race photos) but I had the most magical race weekend.
We arrived at Disneyland on Thursday afternoon and went straight to packet pick up. It took no time to get my bib, then I perused the official race merchandise and I grabbed the gels I needed.
Pixie Dust Challenge Day 1
My goal for the 10K was to have fun, run at an easy pace (yet within the pace limits of a 16:00/mi) and get as many photos as possible. Mission accomplished.
Pixie Dust Challenge Day 2
My A goal for the half marathon was to test my fitness and see if I could better last year’s BMO Vancouver Half Marathon time of 2:08:25. I completely blew away my expectations and finished in 2:06:00…only 38 seconds off of my 2009 half marathon PR.
I can’t wait to share the details! Catch up on my Tink 10K and Tink Half Marathon race reports!
Did you run the Tinker Bell 5K, 10K or half marathon? How was your day?
Love the pic w you and chip n dale. I don’t remember seeing them. It was a fun race! Sorry we never got to meet up.
