Gone are the days when your choice of running or yoga bottoms came in black, onyx, ebony, and perhaps navy and maybe grey. Fun and colourful printed tights and knickers abound now! Here are five printed crops that will help you add a splash of colour to your closet of workout gear.
My love for printed knickers started with Oiselle. Their fun prints helped me break out of my boring, black running tights rut. The new Burgen-Molecular print is just one of three fun prints in their spring 2016 line. The KC Knicker is incredibly comfortable and one of my go to pieces for my long runs.
SOAS Racing Sunset Cliffs Run Tights ($72 US)
via SOAS Racing
These running tights from SOAS feel soft like butter! The inside back panel of the tights is lined in black fabric so you’ll have no worries when you have to bend over to tie your shoes. I layered these capris over a pair of tri shorts and they were super comfortable to wear on my first spring ride outdoors.
CW-X tights have gotten me through many long runs and through the Goofy Challenge in 2013! Thanks to their unique webbing these tights will support your core and your knee joints. If you are planning to log a ton of miles these tights are a worthy investment. I love this colourful constellation print!
lululemon Wunder Unders are one of my favourite crops to wear while traveling. I particularly like this style for HIIT class or Ballet Barre. The high rise waist band means you don’t have to worry about your tights falling down when you are busting out burpee after burpee.

If you don’t want to break the bank to break out some colourful crops Old Navy has a ton of well priced options. I love these high rise compression crops because the waist band stays up, plus there is no chance of muffin top. They remind me a lot of the Wunder Unders but at a lower price tag.
How do you feel about all of the colourful printed crop options? Do you stick with basic black or do you like to express your more colourful side?
